Programs for All

We at the Newberry County Chamber of Commerce are always on the lookout for beneficial programs and events to present to both the business and residential community. We want to hear from you regarding the programs and workshops from which your business could benefit. Additionally, we enjoy promoting and participating in events where we can attract tourists from surrounding areas so that we can share with them the attributes about our communities that we appreciate.

If you do not already, follow us on Facebook, where we share events and news that we think you will enjoy and from which you will benefit. We also email a weekly newsletter where you can glean important chamber, business, and community events and offerings. Contact us, or visit our website NewberryCountyChamber.com, if you would like to be a recipient.

We house the Newberry County Visitors Center and enjoy meeting the over 3,000 people who grace our doors. We are their resource for services such as shopping, dining, car repair, healthcare, and much more, and offer the same to the many people who call our office or visit our website. If you would like additional information on how we can help promote your business or service, please contact us.

We are working with Rob Summer of Summer, Inc. to publish an updated Newberry County Community Guide and Chamber Membership Directory. All Chamber investors are automatically included in this publication that finds its way in the hands of several thousand people, and there are additional advertisements available within the publication.

Along with Brook Health Care and Medical Services of America, the Chamber will again host the Senior Expo on April 4 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. This year's event will be held at Newberry Academy located at 2055 Smith Road in Newberry. We urge our adult seniors, their caregivers and those interested in issues facing seniors, a free opportunity to spend a morning browsing a vendor resource fair and experiencing a variety of interactive programs. If you're a fan of 70's and 80's music, the Newberry Groove 'N Brewfest is the place to be on April 7. From 1:00 until 10:00 p.m., the Newberry Downtown Development Association (NDDA) is hosting this event with great bands, craft beers, food and vintage vendors, vintage cars, Karaoke, and a costume contest. We will host our first Bunco Tournament in the evening of April 19. Held at Uptown Pour in downtown Newberry, we are registering folks interested in playing this fun dice game, where proceeds will go towards scholarship programs that we are developing.

Although June sounds distant, we are planning for our second year of participation in the SC Ag+Art Tour. The Tour through Newberry County has been scheduled for June 23 and 24, along with our neighbors Union and Spartanburg. Definitely look for more information on this event that celebrates our agriculture and local artisans.

We welcome you to visit us on the first floor of Community Hall in downtown Newberry, located at 1209 Caldwell Street. You may also contact us at 803-276-4274 or chamber@newberrycounty.org.
