About Towns in Tune
From Rural Workplace to Concert Space

Towns in Tune connects two communities from different countries by blending their unique histories and includes live music and light bites from Newfoundland and South Carolina.
Concert-goers experienced a songwriters circle from both countries, hearing the stories and the songs, followed by sets featuring musicians from each location - Tokyo Joe from SC and Paul Lamb from Nova Scotia. Afterwards, tastes of our region created by native chefs were served.
Produced by SCETV and Tyndrum Media, this season's twinning of towns marks the second year of events.
2023 featured Lake City, SC, and Stephenville, NL.
Towns in Tune was picked up by PBS to air nationally and has been shown in over 90 markets.

Why at Willingham & Son's?
The premise is that of turning an industrial space into a concert space. This event was born out of similar events that Canadian producer Fabian James has coordinated across Canada where rural workspace has been transformed into concert space. See one example here. Willingham & Son's Building Supply owners were willing to meet with producers and work with them to transform one of their warehouses into concert space. The rest, as they say, is history.
